NotePad Deluxe saves the notes automatically when moving to a new page or topic. The notes are also saved when another application is activated. This type of saving is of speed reasons incomplete. If the application unexpectedly should crash, there is however a possibility that only the modifications since the last autosaving will get lost.
Complete saving
The notes are saved completely when the database is closed (when another database is opened or when the application exits). If the box "Save prior to application switch" is checked in the preferences dialog, then a complete save is made also when another application is activated.
The drawback with making a complete save when switching to another application is that it will cause a small delay.
